Reporting guidelines and requirements
Timeline
-Acknowledgement of Assignment by email within 24 hours of receipt
-Contact with insured within 24 hours of receipt of the assignment
-Review of claim procedure with insured to include preservation of evidence at the loss location
Site Inspection
-Identify the exact cause of loss and obtain all supporting documentation
-A complete scope of damages to building, personal property and possible ALE or Loss of Use
Reporting
-Preliminary Report with Recommended Reserves within 10 days of inspection
-Status Reports submitted every 30 days after initial first report until the file is closed
Estimating
-All property claims are appraised utilizing Xactimate Software
-Xactimate provides detailed unit costs for all States and Regions covered by our office
-Xactimate programs are updated on a monthly basis to ensure that unit and labor costs are up to date
